Aquesta Bank
Aquesta Bank was started by Jim Engel and his Board of Directors in 2006 as a response to a need for a local financial institution that would cater to business people who wanted an alternative to the big banks that permeated the Charlotte region. Engel, who previously spent 21 years as a consultant to large, medium, and small banks across the country, recognized the things that big banks did well…..and not so well. Disturbed that most banks lost their community focus as they grew as well as their tendency to promote people away from their customers, Engel saw a need and acted on it. The result… Aquesta Bank. With fast, local decision-making as well as continuity of relationships, Aquesta provides the personal service that clients crave. Aquesta has grown from its humble roots as a one branch entity located in the Lake Norman region of North Carolina, to an institution that has 8 branches extending to Charlotte and Wilmington, as well as loan production offices, in Raleigh and Charleston, and Greenville, SC. Despite the growth, Aquesta has stayed true to its mission, not only maintaining close personal relationships with its clients but also as a community partner in local charities and events.

Routing/Wiring Instructions
Aquesta Bank customers will be required to have a routing number or routing transit number is a 9 digit number that identifies a financial institution in a transaction and the location where your bank account was opened. The most common types of transactions are ACH and wire transfers. You’ll often be asked for your checking account routing number when you’re making a payment online or by phone.
Some banks and financial institutions usually have multiple routing numbers serving different purposes, geographical regions, and branches. Therefore it is important to ensure that you are using the correct routing number before you initiate a money transfer.
A routing number can also be referred to as an RTN, a routing transit number, or an ABA routing number and can be easily be found printed on the bottom of a check or in the online banking portals of the financial institutions.
How to Find Your Routing Numbers on Check
The best way to find the routing number for your Marquette Bank checking, savings, or business account is to look into the lower-left corner of the bank check.
