GTE Financial Bank was founded in 1935 as Peninsular Telephone Employees Credit Union, which focused on serving the employees of Peninsular Telephone Company. In 2012 renamed itself to GTE financial, as full service financial institution. Nowadays it serves Tampa Bay area.

Routing/Wiring Instructions
Wiring Instructions: To conduct money wiring or transfer of funds domestically or internationally, both the sender and receiver will be required to have a GTE Financial routing number. This can be found at the bottom of the check. You may visit any GTE Financial branch near you and provide the following information:
For domestic wiring (up to 24 hours for processing)
• Bank Name
• Routing Number
• Address of Bank
• Creditor’s Name
• Creditor’s Account Number For international wiring (up to 7 days for processing)
• Swift Code – GTE does not have a SWIFT code, so you must go to the nearest branch and transfer funds in person.
